Several messages have said that these capsules are not available in the U.S. Although I am in Canada, a friend purchased them for me. She got them at Martha's Natural Foods in Naples, Florida, so I imagine they are available elsewhere. They are manufactured by Enzymatic Therapy Green Bay, Wisconsin 54311. Title: Passing the gas

Email Address: tobrien@nash.mindspring.com

Of course, my gut hurts but I can tolerate that, but what I can't handle is the uncontrolled release of gas. Sometimes the explosive feeling tells me what's about to happen. Other times, like when I'm asleep, I pass gas without notice. I use Citrucel, and I use off the shelf anti-gas pills. But nothing works. Any suggestions?

Email Address: Mcstewart@aol.com

The elimination diet (a tasty one--not the usual rice and water)in this book helped me identify triggers to IBS (some of other info kind of radical). For me, changing to a low-fat diet did wonders, as fats really a culprit. Also, anyone know how I get a Memb. ID & password? Anywhere that I can obtain listing of regional self-help groups so can attend where I live?

For the last eight months I have had severe menstrual pain accompanied by abodiminal pain, and bouts of diarreha and constipation. My symptoms are basically nonexistent the two weeks after my period, but are unbearable starting ten days before I start again. Last month fiber and a few Immodium tablets seemed to help, but this month isn't looking too good. Anybody else with these systems coinciding with their menstrual cycle?

I have this friend, she had IBS symptoms but never see a doctor before in regards to her problem. What happen was after she was pregnant and gave birth, all those symptoms disappeared. I defintely believe there is a connection. The Chinese believe that the period after giving birth is an important occasion for women. If during this period, extra tonics and other health food are consumed, the general well being of the woman will improve tremendously.
