Today I ate a tuna salad and haven't been sick. I had tummy ache but that's the daily deal. I went to school to get the paper that my doctor has to sign for me to cancel my semester for health problems. I've been with this guy for two months now and I don't see him very often. I always feel so tired and sick most of the time so I don't feel very romantic. Well, not at all. Poor him. As for friends, I don't get to see them either. Whenever I have freetime I just go to bed and sleep. Urrrrh. Speaking of bed...that what'll do right away.

I've actually noticed that eating tuna fish doesn't bother me any more than any other food, for some reason. I always assumed it would because of the mayo (both because it's high in fat and dairy products). I'm assuming it's a trigger food for you?
Sorry to hear that IBS has driven you away from your friends... I know I can relate to that. Well, I guess I should say that I never really had any college friends because I never felt good enough to do anything. There'd be people that would ask me, but I'd always end up saying no, just because I always felt so poorly...
And relationships are even harder. With IBS it just makes things so complicated... I know I've always been afraid of even considering a relationship just because I know the effect it would have on the other person. As you say, it's hard to feel romantic with IBS...
almost everything is a trigger to me : wheat, dairy, meat, fat, sugar. So that's why I was happy to only get tummy ache, which I get every day, instead of IBS-D. And I was having lunch at work so I would have to tell my boss that I'll be back in an hour or so. I hope you some friends now, even if you didn't have any during college.
