Where is the Freakin Bathroom When I need One?

Posted by joy_badtummy , 26 January 2012 · 111 views

Ok, so people with Ibs type d KNOW what I go through every day. When I wake up in the morning until i go home at night, i am always looking out for the nearest available bathroom. Oh, this sucks! Im now in my late 20s, graduated from college, and working full time. I've had ibs since i was in the 5th grade. Everything I do involves having a bathroom nearby. My one fear is not being able to make it to the bathroom and ive had a couple of close calls. I used to get down and depressed over it..Now, i just laugh it off. Relationships were never a problem. I would just tell my boyfriend "hey, i have a tummy ache and if i dont go now, ill go in your car." Yeah, not a pretty site, but hey, that usually gets people rushing me to the bathroom. School was tough. I'd have to run out in the middle of the exam to take an "emergency break." I remember getting in trouble with the professor over that. How stupid! Ill be posting more about my daily struggles, but for now, i just wanted to get it out in the open about my little journey...living life in a bathroom..

i know what you mean i'm always in the toilet :(
