I am sorry to hear that you are having a bad month. I do understand as I am in the same boat. Mine has gotten so bad that I am on medical leave from my job and currently "stuck" in my bedroom as I have an ensuite.
I cant tell from your blog if you are a new diagnosis or not. If you are "new" that may be in your favour since there are various things youi can try. If you cant make it out of the bathroom, I assume you are not constipated
If I am correct and you have diarrhea, there are things you can try. One of the simplest but time consuming is the food test. Some people have foods that help them slow things down but it is not the same for everyone and it can change. I have foods that last for a few months and then I have to move to something else. one of the things my internist told me was to have carbonated water or gingerale just before or with your meals. Something about the bubbles slow down the tummys attack on the food. it does work and the ginger doesnt hurt either. Other thing is to eat smaller amounts every few hours. I know it sounds wierd if you are like me and food hurts but it does make sense since the body doesnt work as hard but is on a schedule.
Have you done an elimination diet yet? Have you taken dairy out to see if it helps? That one really did suck for me simply because I couldnt touch any type of cheese.
I am an oldie for this...I am now at over 20 years. One thing I can tell you is that you have to get used to adapting to what your body tells you.
