The Joy of Flying

Posted by AcceptedFate , 25 July 2012 · 101 views

So I'm flying home for my dad's 60th birthday tomorrow. My  sister has planned a 6 course meal for him that I'll be helping with (oh you can probably imagine), but that will be a story for another post.

Right now, my immediate thought is the airplane. One of the more uncomfortable situations, but still more comfortable than driving long distance. At least an airplane has a lavatory! It's difficult in general to get comfortable on a plane. Add in some IBS cramps and no matter what position I try to pretzel my way into it's not going to be comfortable. Before IBS, I always favored the window seat, so much easier to sleep. Now I'm all about the aisle. I hate making people get up so I can run off to the lav, especially when it may be multiple times. In preparation for this flight I have low-fat granola bars...woot...my anti-spas and anti-nausea meds...woot again.

Onward through the fog!

Anyone out there on the interwebs have good flight tricks?
