My gastroenterologist of more than 20 years retired. I have been three different doctors and still have not found on that seems to know about or care about IBS. They all seem to be interested in colonoscopies and intestinal disorders that can kill you. None since my first doctor retired seem to understand that living with IBS is a problem.
If you know of a good Gastroenterologist in the St. Louis metro area that you would recommend please respond. I'm desperate since I'm now in a flareup and have spent the last two days attempting to get a prescription from my current Gastroenterolgists office.
