"Paul and I can hardly BREATHE but the consultant actually used the words "happy" and "pleased" today - there is a substantial vacuum where tumour used to be - and all the specialists think that my problems over those terrible few days were debris breaking up which is apparently quite common. I'm now on a proper anti-seizure med, can't drive for a year (but god compared to the state I was in - there are buses) and she thinks "stable". No secondaries and its not spread anywhere else.So we've been given the nod for our much needed holiday."They are off for a week in Rome. Life is good, again.Mark

Here is the main part of an e-mail from yesterday: "Fabbo holiday - lots of lovely pizza, pasta and gellato and mad taxi drivers; Collosium, Spanish steps on steriods - what a laff, the kidles did the top of the basilica but we did everything else and we forgot about bloody cancer for 5 days."She sounded just great, today. Paul is back to work, she goes back next week, her sister and a cuz and herself are planning a couple of days of hiking over some downs, somewhere. (Whatever a down is.) Have a great day, everyone...Mark
