Oh Paul (aka THE GG by the way.. not just GG.. it was THE GG.) thanks so much for posting. :)

I am not at all surprised you had standing room only at the Service for her. And yes.. "Thanksgiving to celebrate Sue's life" is Just the way she would have wanted & put it herself I bet.

And you all should know.... we too are thankful here. She shed loads of light when often there wasn't much. And I trust... she is still among us.... throwing still more light whenever & however she can.
I am grateful you all shared her with us and thankful that I was able to have her in my life if only online and for a brief time.

Please give each other big ((((((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))))) from all of us here.

XO
XOXOXOXO

And I must add my favorite expression that she ever typed here was "God on a Flaming Bike!" :)

Sue was a joy to have the privilege of knowing. I had given up hope of ever having someone like her come into my life as I have been almost housebound by partial paralysis and can't get out into the community and meet people the way I used to be able to do. She brought laughter and life when it was even hard to smile. I am grateful for her friendship and miss her terribly.

My continued prayers and good thoughts go with you, Paul, and your family.

Take care.

What a beautiful tribute to Sue!

And yes, you are "THE GG"...her very affectionate and loving nickname for you. :) I am so very thankful for meeting Sue on this BB. She was one of the most interesting persons ever and she really cared about everyone!!!

There was never a dull moment when she was here. LOL

And she was so very, very proud of her children. Oh, she told us lots of "escapades", but don't worry, we all could definitely identify with her tales of what her children were up to because we had children of our own or.....perhaps we had even done some of those same things ourselves in our youth! :P And let's not forget "The Rug on Legs". Oh my! She continuously made us laugh.

I am honored to have known such a vibrant, caring, loving, humorous, fun-loving woman. And as BQ said, " She shed loads of light when often there wasn't much".

Sue was a very brave woman who wanted to leave the most loving, caring, cherished, and fun memories for all of you and I believe she did exactly that!

Love,
Feisty (Karen)

It has been quite some time since I have been on the forum .... I knew Sue was having health issues but did not know the severity ...
So sorry to hear this news - Sue helped/comforted me many times and made me laugh even more.

May she rest in peace.

Hello all, haven't been on here in a long time, and I can't believe I've logged on to see this.

I spoke to sue through emails fairly soon after she was first diagnosed, and I'm so annoyed with myself for not keeping up with some regular contact and so gutted I've not found out until months later.

She was such a lovely, vibrant lady who never ever failed to make me laugh with her posts of what she was getting up to in her life - and she helped me out through some of the worst days of my life and was such a rock, I hope her family are doing ok and I send them my best wishes - and I'm sure where ever she is she'll be looking down on everyone and making sure everyone is ok.

We were cleaning out some old files last night when I came across the first letter Sue had written to me after we had met in Umbria. Made me sad all over again.

I have not been on this site in over a year; the last person I talked with was Sue,and the first thing I see when I signed on tonight was that she had passed. I can't put into words what I feel, except some peace in knowing that she is with God. I'm sure she is missed very much, especially her family, who meant so very much to her. :(
