Nothing worked until Miralax! For the past 3 days, I've noticed ZERO sniffing and even my friends told me my body odor was gone. (as well as best friend's mom!) They were surprised when I told them I'd spent over $500 since last October trying out EVERYTHING out there and now found a solution in a $20 bottle of Miralax. It PROBABLY won't work on everyone, but I strongly suggest SOME of you try it out and see if it fixes things. My symptoms: bad bowel movements / constipation and incontinence / having to take a #### all of a sudden, fecal body odor...I'll be back on in a couple weeks to see if anyone else has seen any results; until then, it's time to get back the body that deserted me once I caught FBO. PEACE and GOOD LUCK!

Mirilax has also cured my FBO. It took about 2 months of being constipation-free. 2 years of FBO gone; leaving only LG behind. I have said this many times, anyone with FBO AND constipation needs to try mirilax for at least a month or two. It really can be that easy.I think sometimes people are quick to dismiss it, because they have tried so many things that they are skeptical that a 20 dollar bottle of mirilax can be the answer. People are debating things from botox injections to fecal transplants, yet haven't tried this simple OTC supplement. Please, try it out for a couple of months. If you get more gassy or start to have D, reduce the dosage.

This is amazing. I remember reading about another girl who got 100% cured by taking miralax but I didn't believe it. I'll try and dig it up.But wow. Really happy for you man. What dosage are you taking?

Yeah, man, it totally works. I take the recommended amount (up to where the arrow points to) and I don't taste ANYTHING when drinking with water. Just stir well and it's like you're just drinking water. It's a tad bit expensive ($20 a 1-month bottle on Amazon; higher cost in store) but who doesn't want to pay $20 a month (cancel your Netflix account and don't eat out once a month...viola!) to get their LIFE back?

The base of Miralax is Polyethylene glycol 3350. There are cheaper versions. Dulcolax puts out a version and there are now many in-store brands that are at least $3-5 less....same stuff. Works great. CVS, Walmart, etc. I had taken Miralax before but all it did was move along undigested horrible smelling stuff, so no relief from FBO for me. FODMAPS diet cleaned up the smell and the Polyethylene glycol 3350 keeps the rest moving great. I needed to use both methods perhaps because I have internal hems. Have a great holiday.

One of my issues are that I always need to have a bm, even after I just went. I read miralax increases the urge to go more often. Is that true or is it one and you're done?

BAHAHahahahahah....me too, I am waiting! I tell you, it's insane we are all so interested in one another's "Sh*t Saga" (cue the soap opera music)....but here we are lol!Oh and Miralax usually takes about 2-3 days to work on your system unless you take like half the bottle at once (not suggested) so Simon....the t.p. stock is not a big concern lol. :P Good luck!

I tried Miralax before for my colonic inertia but just made me bloat and gassy, plus it took 1-3 days to kick in. My doc suggested milk of magnesia instead and works within 6-8hrs, both have the same effect as it draws water to the colon to produce bowel movement. Milk of magnesia safe for daily use as long as you don't have any renal issues.

Hey guys I have been on one dose of miralax up to the top of the cap for over two months and I still do not feel like it is working the way it should . I thought it would soften the stools enough that I could poop out large pieces and feel better. That has yet to happen. I might go daily but it is not large formed pieces but shapes and colors and sizes that are not the same with each bowel movement and it makes me nuts. I have to go several times and still feel bloated and sick. So what is the answer here. The dr. wanted me to take it twice a day but after I take it I feel bloated.I take it at night and often in the middle of the night it wakes me up. I do not have to go to the bathroom always but just feel sort of weird and sometimes nauseous.Any one on miralax still feel the need to go and the pressure and pain of the low back.?

Try the low fodmap diet. This is the only diet that gas me formed stools, complete evacuation and reduce the door to a minimal.
