Hey Iron,I'm very sorry to hear about your difficulties. Hang in there, hopefully things will work out. One thing that struck me is you said - "the odor increased and changed". I remember reading more than once that when the bad bacteria in your gut start to die off the odor might well get worse in the short run. So actaully that may have been a good sign. You must be in an extremely difficult situation at the moment, especially with your neighbours, but perhaps it might be worth keeping up with that diet for a while longer to see if the increased odor is a case of it getting worse before it gets better. Hopefully also you're on a good probiotic.ps I really miss Common Response also, he doesn't seem like the type of guy that would just stop coming on here all of a sudden, hope nothing bad has happened to him.

Hi, thank you for answering, to be honest I don't know what to think anymore, with this type of problem there are a lot of things you have to deal with, I don't think properly anymore, I'm becoming an accident-prone person, recently I accidentaly cut two fingers while trying to cut some vegetables, I needed stitches, I can't focus, the only time I calm down is when I'm reading about cures. I'm unemployed and I thought I was safe at home but now I realize is not the case, dealing with stress when you're supposed to be resting at your house is hard and I think my neighbour thinks the same way, he is retired and I guess I'm unintentionally perturbing his peace. In terms of the changes I experienced while on the candida diet, it was very strange because at first I thought I was improving but then all of the sudden I started to feel and definitely smell worse, I was getting a cow dung smell, for what I've read is the smell of fermented grass, I guess I don't have the enzymes to break down big amounts of green vegetables or maybe it was the die-off, I don't know really. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Iron,Yes I've had the cow dung smell myself from time to time. No human being should have to go through that but that's our reality I guess. I notice you talked about green vegetables.I'm not too sure which ones you're referring too but a lot of cruciferous vegetables are green like cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli. On another forum I've read most odour sufferers should stay well away from cruciferous vegetables I think because they are high in sulfur containing compounds. Also a lot of them are banned on the low fodmap diet. Maybe that's something for you to consider but I know myself how hard it is to find any foods that sit well with me.

I thought I was the only person experiencing that symptom, In those days I was eating for breakfast a spinach omelette, avocado ( not allowed on LFD), then I would eat spinach soup w/o garlic or onion, then a mexican dish prepared with a plant similar to quinoa and sometimes lettuce and cucumber, so almost no carbohydrates. The cow dung odor sometimes like bleach odor started to change into my usual odor as I started to eat meat (fish and chicken) , rice and corn tortillas, so I don't know what to conclude about that, I feel kind of lost right now
