I know this can seem redundant but I feel like I should post some suggestions since they have drastically reduced my symptoms. What I did:- Went ALL natural, this means no more processed foods. Seriously, we don't need processed food. In the beginning of time man didn't have chips, cookies, chocolates, crackers, and candies! There was no burgers, shakes, fries, sodas and slushies! They didn't fill their stomachs with fried foods and prepared dinners! Heck before the discovery of fire they didn't eat cooked meat, they ate it raw!(not implying anything here)They never had ice cream, cakes, and frozen dinners! What do you think they lived on?? Fruits and Vegetables!! So we can live without processed foods! They properly aren't good for our health either!- I've been avoiding all dairy products (except butter) because they could be causing me problems - I'm also avoiding nuts & seeds- Except rice and quinoa I've abandoned grains altogether- I avoid legumes and certain fruits and vegetables - I've substituted butter for cooking oil (I avoid all oils)- Drink plenty of water, I drink eight glasses of water a day (and I weight about 130; you can divide your weight by 2.2 to get the amount of water, in ounces, you need daily)- Eat 5 servings of fruit and veggie daily (you can get some sizes here: http://www.vdh.state...ll portions.pdf)- recently I made a list of meal plans, adding the general types of food to eat, this I feel gives me a sense a control which is comforting knowing I can at least control something lol- When there's a certain food you can't eat because you know it will cause problems but it is just too tempting just think that life is too shortand do you really want to experience that again?- Try to reduce stress, it can make symptoms worse- Try to always think positive about your situation, I always think there are worse things in life and that there are people out there that suffer more than you do- Finally, I'd also just like to add that my mom has started growing tomatoes in our backyard. She thinks you can't trust "organic" fruits and vegetables they could be just labeled that way when in fact they have been coated in pesticides and such. I think this is a great idea because by growing your own foods, you know what goes on them and what doesn't Well I hope I could help one person from this, I know I didn't type all of this out for myself :)

Yeah pretty much, just from using a food diary and finding out which foods cause problems. I feel so much better, no more bloating and stomach cramps.

I do include meat and eggs in my diet, at first I started with little and then concluded that they are safe to eat so I just eat as much as I need. I try to stick to the preservative free meat.
