so i was diagnosed with ibs 5 years ago im 26 and i have severe abdominal cramps and pain i alternate between constipation and diahrreah but now i have a new scary symptom i have blood when i go that makes the water red and im really scared and dont know what to do any advice

My advice is for you to call your doctor. Red blood is usually a sign of a hemorrhoid or something along those lines....dark blood is usually of greater concern. But...blood is blood and if this is something new for you, have it checked out. Besides....you are going to worry about it until you know what it is. Worry just makes everything worse
