So Thie symptoms for me started when I first got married. I had IBS-A but went to a doctor because I had the IBS-D really bad. Well with no insurance they didn't do any blood work but mentioned that it sounded like the symptoms of IBS. I had no idea what that was but just blew it off like it was just a stomach bug. So here I am, 7 years later and have had to have surgery on my bum for a fissure and a polyp. It was because I had IBS-C for a really long time and so it caused a really bad fissure. (a tear in the bum if u know what I mean). that surgery was 3 years ago and the most painful thing I have ever had to go through. The fissure was so bad the dr said it was the worst he had ever seen and couldn't stitch it up and had to actually cut along side it to help it heal....(didn't make sense but he was the Doc so I didn't ask, plus I was loopy) Well up to date... I have gained 70 lbs over the course of 3 years and most of those years I had IBS-C. I just thought it was normal not to go to the bathroom but only once a week. Lol So now I am on the go around of IBS-A mostly IBS-D, and my husband made me go to the Dr. And he put me on some probiotics for now until my ins. Kicks in. Then he wants to do some blood work to rule out other stuff along side it. I often eat and feel fine but I have NO clue what my trigger foods are! It's so frustrating! We go to a friends house and eat somethimg healthy and I have a mad dash to the restroom and it's so embarrassing! But then again we go and eat at a friends house and have hot dogs and beans and I am totally fine!.... (until the next day of course...) i have been SUPER tired, NO motivation, I have had several anxiety spells this past month, and starting to not want to go anywhere! (mostly because I want to go home and be in my room caved inside my bubble, but also because its SUPER
embarrassing to have to use a friends restroom and stink it up along with the chance of them hearing the war that's going on inside their bathroom!)I have also noticed that in the mornings its harder to wake up and get going. I am sore a lot too. I feel like my body is falling apart and I feel alone in the process. My husband is my biggest supporter, and wants me healthy. Anyway.... That's my story as of now.... I am hoping the probiotics the Dr put me on helps me soon! (I am taking Align by the way.)Any suggestions or tips or what not... I would love to hear it/them!
