Hi Rowe!! It's great to see you here again. It's been fairly cool here in Sacramento, too. The past few weeks it has been getting warmer, with us getting a 100 degree day last week. We're getting the sparrows with their babies in the backyard along with the house finches and tons of pigeons. We have a rather aggressive scrub jay that loves to chase all of the smaller birds away and then eat as much seed as he can. Someone in the neighborhood puts out peanuts for the jays and he brings his peanuts over to our porch and the cracks them and eats them. They are so much fun to watch. I think that we even have a couple of the hummingbirds out in front as the nectar in their feeder decreases each day. Last year I got the best picture of a hummingbird starting to fly away from the feeder, with his wings fully outstretched. I hope that you are doing well. We are hanging in there. Ed is off to the doctor today as he may have cracked a rib in a fall the other day. I'm very worried. He just won't watch where he is going and he is easily distracted and he bumps into things or falls over things. We've been dealing with this for over 40 years and it is getting worse as he ages. Well, take care and enjoy the lovely weather before the hot summer really kicks in.Renee'
