Hello everyone, My IBS started from food poisoning back in November 2010 and i have been suffering daily ever since. I've tried many things so far in an attempt to improve my condition however without much success so far. For a few months now i've been contemplating having a stool test done by a company called Genova Diagnostics, to investigate whether there is any underlying problem such as bacteria or parasite etc. The most detailed test is around £280 (not including consultation prices), which is pretty expensive, so i was wondering whether the tests are worth having. Has anybody had any experience with these kinds of tests? How useful did they prove?Thank you for reading/posting!
