Elavil might help

I am, again, shocked to see how much this helps. It is a prescription medication, and I didn't believe it would really help initially. I stopped taking it last summer for about a month, and I was miserable. So, I started taking it again, and it helped, but it didn't alleviate the problem altogether. However, increasing the dosage to 20 mg. has made all of the difference! The 20 mg. is a very small dosage, as I believe it is prescribed at 150 mg. when taken for anti-anxiety. Do read up on the contraindications, but it might be worth asking your physician about this medication and whether it might help!
From: Amitriptyline"Amitriptyline may be prescribed for other conditions such as cyclic vomiting syndrome, chronic pain, tinnitus, chronic cough, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), fibromyalgia, vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diabetic peripheral neuropathy, neurological pain, laryngeal sensory neuropathy, chronic fatigue syndrome and painful paresthesias related to multiple sclerosis. Typically lower dosages are required for pain modification of 10 to 50 mg daily."
