I was diagnosed with IBS - D about a year ago. I was put on Mebeverine, which seemed to work and then my symptoms relaxed for a while. I kept having one or two bouts but mostly, did not need to take my meds. I recently had one bout of IBS -D as I ate a food I was intolerant to. Then last night I felt like I had trapped gas (which I have experienced before) and no matter how much I made myself relieve gas, it wouldnt go. It kept me awake all night with a nausea feeling and I kept waking up every hour or so to try and relieve gas. I woke up this morning feeling horrible still, and ended up vomiting three times, it was a yellowtail liquid. A few times when i was about to be sick, air just came up instead, but it was mostly vomit. Could the vomit be associated to the trapped gas and therefore IBS? I'm currently in bed trying to sit it out, is there anything I can do / take to make the gas go away? Thanks!
