Hi everyone! I am new to this...so hopefully am doing this right...I was diagnosed with ibs-d 6 months after I had my first child.. In the 6 years since I had her, my ibs-d has worsened to the point I am taking up to 10 imodiums/day when I know Im going to have to go out. We have been talking about having another child for a while now, but I am so nervous about giving up my imodium. So I am just wondering If I did end up having another child would my ibs be gone after I have the baby? Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

Usually IBS-D tends to go away during pregnancy (not in every case, but it is really common), but that doesn't usually let you know if it will stay away once the baby comes. Quite often the IBS-D will come back after the hormones go back to normal.
