The other day my sister told me about how one of her friends has ibs too and still works. That she just has to run to the bathroom allot. How do I get it through peoples heads that there are different cases and types different to every one. I lost my job of 12 years due to me having so many issues that I could barely function at work and now with being off I have been able to control my symptoms pretty well. What I can not get people to understand is that the pain is the major issue, and the sickness is sooo bad. Its unreal sometimes. Ive had kidney stone problems that compare to the pain that the diarrhea and constipation have caused and all i can do is heave in pain and lay down. Does any one else have really severe pain with diarrhea? Before I was diagnosed and had problems with ibs I remember having had constipation and diarrhea on occasion and never being as painful and causing the nausea that it does. What makes it so severe like that?
