I think all of us with IBS are being discriminated against. The lack of approval of Zelnorm hurts us IBS-D people as badly as I question whether they will consider putting Lotronex back on the market. I am so tired of being confined to my home, close to the bathroom, most of the time!First, the FDA Advisory Committees are being investigated. See: http://www.washtimes.com/national/20010618-202579.htm Why? Who REALLY initiated this investigation?Second, has anybody done a real analysis of what has happened to drugs Public Citizen opposes?Third, I have seen other statistics of drugs mentioned where death or injury is far more likely than either Lotronex or Zelnorm. Is it possible to get the scientific certification reference for them, and all in one location so we can write our federal representatives and senators and yell discrimation by Public Citizen? If we can do that, believe me, I have a couple URLs where you can find who represents you really fast.Anyone interested in an organized fight back?Rhea

You raise great questions!I for one am ready to do whatever I can do to help! This is just NOT acceptable! Driving home from the store with my weekly stash of laxatives made me so angry! I was thinking of setting up a web page just against this Public Citizens Group! I'd LOVE to know what drugs have been blocked due to their interference. They are the most negative group going..have they EVER supported anything??? Seems to me they just come out against everything. I for one have NO respect for Ralph Nader any longer! I'd love to know the motive for blocking these drugs! Latronix problems are well known now so seems with the proper label and warnings it SHOULD be available for the D's and there were really no reasons that I can see to have not approved Zelnorm! Count me in to do battle!PM
