I would say I've never really had a good stomach and Ibs-d for years before I was diagnosed. One thing I can't stop thinking about is I had Helicobacter a few years back (before ibs diagnosis) Which I took a course of tablets t get rid of. Not that my stomach was great since, I was told I also had an stomach ulcer which is now cured afaik. I've had a barium meal a breath test and a camera down my throat.
Or could be how all those antibiotics effected the colon bacteria (as they don't kill one and only one bacteria).
Probably is you can find plenty of people with H.p. infections with no symptoms (not even ulcers) so hard to say it could be the only cause for you.
