A few weeks ago I had a couple of episodes of watery diarrhea and took some Imodium for the first time in a long time. Today I had an explosive one that got on the back of the toilet lid and my back and it scared me that this may be something more serious than IBS-D! I cleaned myself up and the toilet. Do any of you guys experience this ever and it not be something serious? I've had C Diff three times in the past and it left me with some PTSD and this is why I'm seekin reassurance here. Please anyone?!
Hi there I am new on here but saw your post. I have very water explosions quite frequently, one minute I can be constipated the next like water for the rest of the day. I have only just been diagnosed so not ruled much foods out that's causing it yet but bread and tea seems to be the ones that stand out at the moment.
i do too. so bad that it gets to the back of the seat. just like how u described.
what helped: probiotics and omega3. omega3 has been a real life saver. i take 1200mg a day. with about 10bn cfus of probiotics.
Thanks you guys! It helps to know I'm not alone with the watery D more than the average person. It sucks as you know! I take Forastor probiotic twice a day. I haven't tried Onega3 because I assumed that would make the D worse since it's fish oil. It's worth a try though. Thanks again!
Hey, I've had similar issues when I accidentally drink a high FODMAP drink- coconut water is the WORST for me- are you drinking something other than water??
