How sad. I definitely remember Maro too. She seemed like such a great person. Familiar names have been mentioned here: Anxious, Peke, etc. Would be great to hear moe about them.

I certainly do remember her very well. She lived in Colorado and took her cats to the vets from emergency vets/animal planet in Denver. She also kept the birthday list here on the IBS BB. I hope her death was peaceful she was a lovely woman and we e-mailed often way back when.

Oh Jeff, what a wonderful idea - good for you. I never knew this lady but my thoughts of course for all her friends (including those on this board) and, most of all, her family. We've been remembering Charlie our best man, who died aged 44 from Pancreatic cancer in April, so I'm thinking of him too at the moment, we held a lovely "wake" for him on Sat night.Sue xxxx

So sorry to hear this. Can you tell us what happened? And come see us in the Lounge more often yourself!

I received an email from Wendy aka "Anxious" and she says to tell everyone hello. She was very upset about Erma Jean passing and plans on getting in touch with the family. She hasn't been able to get on the board - hopefully that will change. If all of you remember her hysterical posts about driving the bus, I'd love for the new members to have the joy of reading her posts!!!!Cindy

I haven't been on the board for a while, but another member e-mailed me with this sad news. I will always remember her for the birthday threads. It always amazed me how she remembered everybody. My condolences to her family. It is such sad news, but gratifying to know she went peacefully in her sleep.

Hello, this is Lori, Erma Jean's (Maro)daughter. I just want to thank all of you for you kind thoughts during this time. We were all very shocked with her passing. As far as we knew she was feeling fine. It was quite a shock for my father. They had been married for 56 years and he has really never been alone. She was a wonderful mother and a true friend. We are getting by as well as we can but we miss her terribly every single day.Once again, thank you! I am not at all suprised she touched you all the way she did...she was just that kind of person.
