can someone tell me if this gets worse with age, im concerned i read postings every day somethings i can relate to others i can not, but im really concerned about my ibs-d, i posted before that i didnt get many responds, lost lots of weight, im not worried about that anymore, but i am about accidents, im social butterfly, and i like going places, but i NEVER eat before i go, i kinda wait till i get home unless i cant help it, i dont take medicines or had any invasive tests, but my ibs is so unpredictable, welcoming any suggestions, answers or whatever, im just completely in the dark about this thing, im hoping someone or myself can start a chat room because id love to respond to someone alot faster

Shawn I think you're going to just have to figure out what works for you. Some people swear by Imodium, some it doesn't work for. Other people think the the calcium tablets every day with meals work for them. I can really relate to the not eating thing. If I'm going somewhere important I can not eat before I go. Sometimes I even have to start the day before and eat "safe" foods. Sometimes though, the precautions don't matter. If I'm going somewhere I'm nervous about, like a school meeting with my kids' teaching team of 9 or more, I'll still have a hard time getting out the door. Good luck to you. I hope you can find what works for you. Posted Image
