Hello!

On March 15, 2005 we moved to a new community engine and a new format for our community. The new format has a similar look and feel to the former one. All of the forum discussions, former postings and registered member usernames have been moved to the new environment. You'll find a few new features including integrated chat rooms and photo albums among several others. Once you login to the IBS Community you can move around to various modules without having to login again. In the near future we will be adding a new cutting edge module which will allow for personalized IBS Communities organized and run by you! Stay tuned for more details.

The IBS Self Help and Support Group is the largest on-line community for people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome because of you, our members. We appreciate all of your support.

If you were a registered member of the bulletin board prior to March 15, 2005, please follow the following instructions in order to link your former member username with the new Groupee login environment.

Groupee Account Creation and First Time Login Procedures

Click the Login/Register link on the IBS Group BB.

A screen similar to the following screen will appear the first time you log into the site.

Create your Groupee login by clicking "Continue". The screen below will appear.

Select the “I do not have a Groupee account” option and the screen will change as shown below:

Enter a VALID e-mail address (you will be required to verify it later) and select a password. If you would like the site to “remember you” so that you don’t have to login each time you visit, check the “remember me” option. You must also read and check the “I agree to the Groupee Terms of Service” option. Once all the information is entered, click the “Join” button.

You will then see a screen similar to the following:

Click “Continue”. If you registered at Groupee.com you must now go to the site you want to enter. If you used the login link at that site once you click continue, a screen similar to the one below will ask if you already have an existing account for the IBS Group Bulletin Board. (message will be similar to screen shot below but not exact).

If you were a previous member of this site, select YES and press Enter. You will then be prompted for your old account login and password:

Enter your old username and password and click the “Link Account” button. If you do not remember the password you can use the “Lost Password” link to retrieve it.

You have now linked your old account to your new Groupee account. From now on, when you log in you will use your Groupee login.
