Is there any statistics of people in the military with IBS?

I'm thinking of joining and have mine mostly under control with loperimide. I'm just wondering if they accept people with IBS and how sufferers cope travelling and being out in the field for days/ weeks at a time?

Hi, not sure if you're US or UK, but over in UK you cannot join any of the military if you have been controlling your ibs with medication in the last 2 years. Don't know the rules for US.
