I'm curious about the effect of pre-biotics (digestive enzymes) on IBS symptoms. And also how many probiotics are too many? Is it the more the merrier? I haven't yet determined what works and what doesn't work.

And one more thing. Last year my doctor told me to try Intramin, a liquid supplement manufactured by Drucker labs. I honestly believe I felt better while taking it than I have in years. But it could be that I took it during a time when my IBS was in remission. There is a strict protocol you must follow when taking Intramin, and the stuff is pretty expensive, but if it truly works, it is worth it. Has anyone had experience with either Intramin or Intramax? I am thinking about giving it another try.

I read it depends... if you suffer from SIBO it seems you're better off not taking any before fixing the SIBO.
