I have chronic nausea that drs have yet to figure out why. I rarely burp but when i do it immediately takes off the edge and gives me relief for a few minutes. Why is that?

I have the same problem for 2 years now. I find relief by burping/retching. That can make me a totally new person.

I know all advice is to avoid carbonated water but I find it helps me when I am feeling really bloated. Usually when I drink carbonated water I need to burp (but not pass wind) so It kind of helps relieve the bloating. I'd rather be burping than tooting ;) Hope it helps!
