Hello

My name is jack, i am 17 years old and i have been suffering from IBS/Anal leakage for about 5 years now. I believe i have IBS because my stomach is very sensitive to greasy, fried, spicy, and just unhealthy foods in general. I have a lot of trouble eating wheat and get really bloated up. I have really bad bowel movements after eating things like that. I also tend to stay away from dairy since i am lactose intolerant. My symptoms of anal leakage started 5 years ago after a christmas vacation in Florida, which i got sick and had to take anti-biotics. I first noticed the anal leakage in school. During classes i would constantly go to the bathroom because i would have a wet anus, and whenever i wiped there was a yellowish color left on the toilet paper. In addition to the anal leakage there is also a fecal smell. After a bowel movement, and after a shower i still notice fecal residue on the toilet paper if i were to go wipe in the bathroom or something. Everyday of my life i am scared to go to school or to go out in public because i know i will leak and smell like poop. I have been to many doctors, including a colorectal doctor. During my visit with this doctor he took a look at my anus and noticed that my hemorrhoids were irritated he also told me that what i was leaking was mucus. He also told me that i produced a lot of mucus. When i tried explaining to him about the smell he denied it and told me that the mucus has no smell and that it was simply in my mind. He went on to diagnose the problem has puritas ani, which i dont believe i have because i dont feel itchy in my anus area. In addition to the anal leakage i notice that my crack is really moist and wet im not sure what it is. Not sure if the leakage is coming out of that area or its just the anxiety that takes over. Sitting down for long periods of time is also horrible, i get very tensed up down there and sometimes start to go numb depending on the amount of time i sit. The anal leakage occurs 24/7 despite of me getting tense or just being relaxed. The colorectal doctor recommended that i put a piece of cotton on the outside of my anus so i dont have the sensation of leakage, this helps with the sensation (sometimes) but the bad smell continues and after a long period of time i feel wet again. I have no clue what this problem could be, my senior year of high school is coming up and this problem isnt resolved. I want to live a normal life, have a girlfriend, go out with friends, etc. But i believe that is not possible at least the way i am. This problem has caused a lot of mental problems, like social anxiety and depression. PLEASE give me any suggestions or questions that i could answer to give you a better understanding of my problem. Is it possible that i could have a recto-anal Intussusception? *PS* I did get a colonoscopy done and they did not find anything. *ps* ps* my leakage gets worse when i eat dairy products or when i am simply in public scared and my anxiety gets really bad. I want to be myself again someone that loves talking to and meeting new people. Help me get back the real me

take olive oil and raw garlic and eat those more regularly with dinner meals. Lentils too. Eat sesame seeds midday. You need to up your vitamin C as well. Soaked almonds and kiwi and prune in the morning, fresh cooked tomatos midday, and fresh pineapple or cactus pear at night. FOCUS mostly on night meals to stop the hemeriodal symptoms. Radishes, garlic, organic beets and tops.

Might want to learn yourself what your trigger foods are, keeping in mind to skip those and instead nourish your body and spirit with everything else.

Also rereading your post, you said you want to be yourself. Brazil nuts help with that. Find the ones in the shell and begin by breaking them with your teeth. Over time this will teach your body to accept life both good and bad. Feel the health of your teeth too, are you getting enough of a bite out of life?

Or you could save yourself a trip to your dentist and break them open with a nutcracker. JMHO

You'd have to be a bit 'nutty' yourself to try opening these up with just your teeth!

Hey dlind70 i appreciate your input. I will begin doing most of those things as soon as possible. I say most because i believe that any type of nut especially peanuts trigger my symptoms, for example if i were to eat them i would have a bad time in the bathroom. As well with tomatos, i feel like i leak more after eating them. Maybe cause they are more acidic?

Make sure at the very least you do not skip breakfast. One Brazil nut and peaches or apple. Nuts and fruit are best as morning foods. Root foods and fish for dinner and the rest for lunch. Tomatoes are acid once you eat them but balance once they get inside, you know. If you have symptoms, eat around that food of course. The peanut is actually a legume so I would not eat that in your current situation. Check this blog for more info. http://oneradionetwork.com/atoms-blog-articles/tomatoes-are-acidic-in-the-mouth-stomach/

Eating raw garlic helped my Dad from passing mucus, he couldn't believe the resul after suffering for years. Like I said in my other post, pro biotic yogurt and kefir cured my IBS which had controlled my life for years. I was lactose intolerant too but no more.
So you are saying that eating yogurt got rid of your lactose intolerance? Ive been trying to stay away from yogurt because of the lactose. As for the raw garlic how often should i eat it? Thank you for your help
