So I joined using facebook, and the site is showing my full name on all my posts.  While I agree we should all be more open about this hidden illness and stop the stigma, I work in a job where I am googled for a lot, and I really don't need this to be what prospective companies see about me.  Any idea how to change it??

Carolannn--if you want, i can delete your membership under your current name. this will delete all your posts as well, because they have your name on them.  then you can re-register under a new name.  just write me back here on this thread or PM me to confirm that this is what you want to do.

Hi Annie,

Is there no way to do this without deleting my current threads?  I'm in the middle of getting some helpful advice, seems a shame to throw it all away.  If not, I'll maybe wait until my current threads are finished and do it then instead.

there is one thing i can try but i'm not sure it will work:  you can signed up now with a new name and then i can  "merge" the new name with your current one.  and then delete "carolann north"/ that might work.  but if it does, the name on your current threads would be changed to the new name . so yes, i can try that if that's what you want done.

or else, just wait til your threads are finished and then change your name.  just let me know  smile.png

Thanks Annie,

I'll sign up with a new name now, and then post here.

Hi phurbos

yes i'll go ahead and do that right now. i'll delete your membership under your current name (which, like you mentioned, will delete your posts etc)  and then you can re register under a new name.
