I recently read an article about IBS, the author mentioned a new form of IBS, the IBS-B (bile salt deficiency).
He says that it can co-exist with IBS-D as well and its main symptoms are immediate bloating after eating, loose stools, steatorrhea, gas and severe indigestion..
What causes the IBS-B is the malfunction of the nervous system, which affects and alters the function of the CCK hormone as a result not enough bile to be secreted from the gallbladder and pancreas...
IBS-B he continues is difficult to evaluate because most of the times it is masked as IBS-D.
I personally have the exact same symptoms as IBS-B, without diarrhea or constipation..
Does anybody heard about it before?Does really stress and depression can trigger this kind of IBS?
