Hi,

Even since I was 8-9, I have had leaky gas problem. School was hell was for me, because, well, everyone laughs at the guy who leaks gas all time.

In college, I used to skip a lot of classes, so it was manageable.

I had horrible gas issues when I started working. At the three months training orientation program, if I could count the number of times I had people say eww, I would be a millionaire. This came to a point where I started starving myself.

I have always been extremely skinny, however, I don't eat a lot during the week because my gas issue worsens when I eat full meals. So I have never been able to gain weight.

Now that I work, I have the same problem. I have been trying to eat as little as possible. I drink a lot of water and eat a fruit everyday, take the Asian gooseberry powder, but still have this problem.

As for my toilet habit - It takes me two tries to evacuate in the morning - the first round is normal. I get off the toilet, drink a bit more hot water, and the second round is more moist, bordering on diarrhea.

Plus my stomach makes extremely weird sounds at times, like round grumbling noises. It doesn't happen anymore, though, but the gas issue never disappeared.

I have not been able to gain a healthy weight for a guy, I have not found the courage to talk to girls - I fear I might leak gas around them. Co-workers smirk at me, I am depressed. If I could, I would be a hikikamori.

My question is this - do you guys know what my condition could be? Have any of you had these issues? Any leaky guys here who have had menthol scented gas (surprised me, too.)

I am unhappy - I am a grown man, but I still leak gas. Working at home is not an option in my country. And I don't know how to manage it.

I am buying these underwear called shreddies - if they don't work, I don't know what will.

Help me out guys.

White rice doesn't cause excessive gas for me. Potato, onions, nuts, cabbage and oatmeal anything gassy or sulfur, can't do.

You don't mention taking probios acidophillus or bifidus in yogurt or pills....Ever take charcoal capsules or silicone for it... This doesn't sound like IBS which involves more, like extreme pain and gas with severe IBS, and watery diarrhea and/or constipation where one doesn't go for days.

1/04/18: Pain's my main problem. IBS-D prone, but not with methylcellulose soluble non-gassy caplets still, 2 before anything eaten.  Also, 10C water/day (Have to if taking fiber supplement and soluble foods). Frequent, small and well chewed meals. No more salads, seeds or peel, whole grains, raw vegetables STILL. Have used in the past antispasmotics, low dose tricyclic anti-depressent (for ibs and inflammation)/both VERY drying even at low amounts and disorienting, CBD oil and IBgard's encapsulated peppermint (works better than older type enteric peppermint). Have occasional inflammation in illium at end of small intestine, but it was not crohns. Activated charcoal when needed for flatulence, simethicone only works on upper stomach area for upper gas (burping) right away btw, not flatulence at end of g.i. track. Tried Kratom, good but itchy and didn't prevent a flare up from eating a wrong foods. Raising dosage didn't kick down inflammation. Now back to being certified for (legally available here) medical high CBD Cannabis/Marijuana RSO (thick oil form), more expensive. I needed more anti-inflammitory help from the THC in regular cannabis oil, instead of just CBD oil.
