Hey everyone,

I have a question about linzess, which I just started taking (the higher of the two doses). Within about 3 hours of taking it, I got the dreaded side effect of very bad, painful gas. I know many people have had a similar reaction to this medication, as well as other bad side effects.

I'm wondering if anyone who has had the gas reduce or go away after taking linzess for a while? I've searched the forum and the linzess review post, however, it seems that most people who have had this side effect stopped taking linzess almost immediately. I'd like to continue and see if the medication will help or not, but I'd also like to get an idea of how common improvement of this side effect is. I'll probably half the dosage tomorrow.
