Hi. I really hope someone can shine some light on this. For the past 3 months I have been suffering with prostatitis. For those who are not familiar it is a prostate inflammation which comes with a ton of unpleasant symptoms. As that was happening I started noticing my bowel movements changing. I was under alot of anxiety and stress and things started to happening. Some times it was diarrhea, sometimes the stool was just greasy and kinda yellow and lately sorta dry.
What I have been noticing through out that whole time is i started passing gas less. And when I did pass it I had to kinda force it and it was short. Not the usual long relaxed ones i always have.
I am very concerned as to why thats happening. And today in the morning i went and it seemed fine but shortly after i felt like i needed to again and like there was gas trapped in my rectum and I couldnt get it out.
Can someone please shine a light on on this? Did anyone have similar situation? IS this colon obstruction or cancer or what?
Thanks.

Hi . I think you are having IBS symptoms caused by your anxiety . Try not to stress out about it as it will make it worse . It is not life threatening . Hope you feel better soon .

Thank you friend. I was just wondering... because I know IBS can cause diaheria or constipation but my farts became short like something is not letting the gas pass the right way.. im worried about that.. Yes my stool is odd every time.. some times smaller piecies some times big but dry and most of the time toward the yellows color not like solid brown like before (Please excuse the graphic explinations)

Margaretjane might be correct. It's precisely the discomfort my niece is experiencing, and she has been diagnosed with having an IBS.

Wow this thing is full of symptoms. Stress from my prostatitis kicked in and over a period of 3 months my digestive went to sh*t. (made a joke).
Also last night i felt like there is like acid kinda in my esophagus. Damnit its 2018.. fine no flying cars.. but at least build a health machine!
