Hi, I'm a 67 year old C5/6 quadriplegic as a result of an accident in 72. I never had abdominal pain until about 15 years ago. I have no idea what caused the change but I began having huge pain in my right lower abdomen. It felt like someone had a broom handle jammed in there and was applying maximum pressure. Soft foods like pasta and oatmeal help but not for long. I bloat and belch. It's not pretty but does briefly reduce pain. The pain usually doesn't start until after midday but often forces me to bed around 3, yet I'll occasionally go for a week or even month with zero pain, zero symptoms. I wish I could figure out what makes the change but I never can. I hurt. Any ideas? Thanks
