Imodium for IBS-C?

My GI-NP prescribed pelvic floor therapy, which I'll start soon. The short story is that while my Motegrity-MOM-Citrucel regimen works, I may suffer dyssynergic defecation, which the PF therapy may help. Long story short, is that after a given BM, my colon keeps moving stuff along to the point that I feel as though I need another one, all too often. After some research, I found that Imodium may help, but it seems counterintuitive, given that Motegrity is a prokinetic. I'll ask my GI, but wondered whether others have heard/tried this. Thanks.

Yes, that was my point: it's unusual, but some practitioners have suggested it for conditions like dyssynergic defecation.

The explanation in the link below provides some good information. I'm going to start pelvic floor therapy soon, which may help my current distress. However, while I have symptoms of dyssynergic defecation, I have not been officially diagnosed with it by my GI. https://www.iffgd.org/lower-gi-disorders/dyssynergic-defecation.html
