Are there any of you who take antispasmodics now chronically? because I do, I take them every day before meals and it helps me a lot but I'm afraid that the body will get used to it and it won't take effect anymore, and then how will I do it .. please help me because I feel anxious to think about it haha

and..if a drug were to create tolerance, what could I do to restore its initial effect? is it enough to simply suspend it for a few months and then it returns to take effect normally?

I take dicyclomine most days of the week. If I take more than one (which I usually have to) it makes me very tired. I haven t noticed it losing its effectiveness.

I've taken Dicyclomine for many years. I'm not convinced it helps all that much but my doctor keeps recommending it. It does nothing for diarrhea but may help me a little with gas.

I can't really call what I have pain. I get this gnawing sensation under my left rib. It's just very uncomfortable not painful. My doctor said there is a big bend right there in the intestine.
