HiI'm new to this forum and I have had IBS-D since my second year at university about 5 years ago. My IBS-D's symptoms have been few and far between but ever since the start of this new year, I have had some episodes of IBS-D, chiefly loose bowel movements. To tell you a bit about the background of my circumstances, I work 3 days a week, live in a comfortable home and I have a comfortable routine. I can't explain why recently my IBS-D seems to be so regular. I have been prescribed Mebeverine and that seems to alleviate the cramp and the loose bowel movements.I wonder if anyone can shed some light as to why my IBS-D seems to be so bad at the moment. It's giving me great anxiety, forcing me sometimes to call in sick. I don't want it disrupting my lifestyle anymore. Thanks for taking the time to read.
