Hi everyone! I have been suffering from IBS for about 7 years now and have never had anything like I had this morning... I went to the bathroom and it was a fairly normal bowel movement except...I had this long (about 3") thin rubbery, gummy thing when I wiped afterwards... It wouldn't detach until I wiped... Anyone else had anything like this?

Sounds like mucus.Mucus can be common in IBS. Everyone always makes some all the time but often the colon makes more when it acts up for any reason, including IBS.

Definitely mucus. I usually seem to see that occur after I've had an attack and it usually last for the next few days.
