I've suffered from severe mentrual cramps since I was 19 and I'll be 24 next month. I've tried many types of birth control pills and forms of ib profin but none of them seem to help. Two months ago my doctor had me try the birth control pill Yasmine which did not help and then switched me to a low estrogen pill which also did not help. After having my period for a month straight she decided I should have a laparoscopy done. They couldn't find any abnormalities, but I am still having the following symptoms...severe bloatingcrampsnaseaufatigueGI upset (diarrhea)abnormal bleeding (period for almost 2 months)back and abdominal painMy doctor is clueless to what else could be going on. She suggested maybe I was suffering from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) but I don't understand why I still have my period. Does anyone have any suggestions of what might be going on or what I should do next?
