Hi LotteI have been taking acacia powder for about 3-4 weeks now and I feel wonderful!!! I started taking a very small dosage (1/2 teaspoon x daily) and I am now taking 2tbs. twice daily. Just when I was ready to give up four days ago I woke up with no pain, bloating, gas...NO Pain!!! I don't even remember when was the last time I did not experience pain before this. I am not taking any other supplements and no medications. The constipation is a symptom that still remains but at a much lesser degree. At this point in time just not living with pain everyday is so wonderful that I will definetely stay on acacia!!! Now I happen to be a vegan and I do exercise at least 5 x week but I had been doing this all along and it did not make a significant difference until I started taking the acacia powder. I hope it works for you. I know that unfortunately it does not work for every single person. What are your symptoms? Perhaps you want to post your message on the forum that relates to IBS-C or IBS-D.
