Hi Bonniei,I do not know anythng of the drug/supplement/? you are mentioning...sorry. I do however have advice for severe c as I suffered from it for a long time. For very short-term use (as stimulant laxatives are not good for extended use) I would suggest Perdiem or Senokot. Both usually work by the next day. Perdiem also sells one (I have not tried this particular one) that has a stool softening agent. Both Perdiem and Senokot usually produce a BM within 12 hours as they claim. For me, sometimes the dose wasn't enough (very rare) but sometimes it was too much, so I would take 1/2 teaspoon rather than a whole. You can find any of these in the laxative section at the food store, pharmacy...anywhere they sell laxatives. If you are looking for long term relief, I've been taking Magnesium supplements but I only take the recommended daily intake which is 400 mg. Many people on this board have found relief from Prune Juice, Aloe Vera Juice, Flaxseed (ground or oil), Olive oil, Metamucil, Citrucel etc. Good Luck. I hope I have been of some help. Sorry I couldn't help with your other question. Hopefully someone else is familiar with it.Kari
