How can you tell if you are allergic to Miralax? I have been using it for months and the last few weeks, my butt itches. Would this mean I am allergic to it? NO hives just itchy.

Lots of things can cause an itch butt, like internal hemorrhoids. Itchy doesn't mean allergy and only allergy.Usually if you are allergic to what you ingest you get itchy or rashed over large parts of the body (often the whole torso) rather than just the exit point.

My bottom can be very itchy due to hemorrhoids.My Doctor prescribes ointment i can use on it.
