Alternating c and d

I mainly have more c than d. But I alternate between the two. For anyone else with c and d, how often do you alternate between the two? For example, Monday I had d twice then monday night I was c. I usually will be d for a day but usually only go once or twice when I do go. Its just the consistency of d. Then I will hav c for a few days.

I am usually C most of the week. Sometimes I have cramps and feel like I am going to have D but usually that will hit after 4-5 days of C. Then the D can last for a few minutes,a few hours or a few days. Sometimes it isn't even D but slow and painful. I have tried to figure out trigger foods etc with no luck.Every once in a while I have what I consider a normal BM but that is usually a fluke.

I bounce around. I can go for weeks with D every day. This is what I consider a really bad period. Then there are the times I am C for 3-5 days and then have a day of D; then back to C for 3-5 days. I consider this a bad period. Then there are those blissful times where I have a BM almost daily. Those are the times I feel like I can walk on water!! I'm been trying to figure out how to keep the right balance. I try a combo of calcium and fiber with immodium thrown in when needed. But so easy to get thrown off. And since I'm more paranoid about the D than the C, I often overdo trying to control it and get into trouble. Like when traveling.

If I can keep myself from having C problems, I am fine. If I have C, I will suffer from pain, bloating, nausea & cramping as well. When I finally go, it will turn into D by the end because my body doesn't seem to know when to stop. Then I will have D for anywhere from a day to three days. I only get D without C as a reaction to something like water in a strange state or way too much coffee.P.
