Hello!

As you know by the title, I've come here to figure out whats going wrong with me.

To start off i'm having an anxiety attack over contracting HIV, which isn't good for my health i know. But anyways, i met up with this girl two and a half weeks ago from online(tinder) and we ended up having sex. I wont go into much details on the encounter but ill tell you i had unprotected oral sex on her (not knowing her STI status, just by going off her word saying she was clean of STI's) I did get fluids in my mouth, so i understand that I've got a low risk for HIV infection and the only way to find out is taking a blood test after 3 months which is 2 months from now.

Well now the main reason i'm here now is to get over the confusion of symptoms I've been having while having anxiety of HIV!

I've been diagnosed with GERD years ago so having acid reflex/gas/heartburn is a daily thing.

*These symptoms usually come after eating meals and the pain goes away hours later*

Abdominal Pain (Worst symptom out of everything) The pain is unbearable, so much i cannot do anything *THE MORE I FREAK OUT THE MORE IT HURTS!*

Diarrhea and loose stools (Bathroom trips almost every 30 minutes after eating most foods)

Lots of gas/bloating (burping and farting)

My joints also hurt sometimes and last for about a minute or two

Had a headache once at night in the past 11 days

All of these symptoms have been ongoing for about 11 days now, I've been to the walk-in clinic twice in that time and they both diagnosed me with stomach flu both times. I sent my stool sample in for testing and both doctors did a physical test on my organs and they all seemed to feel fine. I'm starting to think stomach flu isn't what i'm experiencing because i never have any flu symptoms when i stop eating for about 6 hours? When i do eat i experience only pain/gas/diarrhea,

I took Pepto-Bismol after eating and the pain didn't ease off for about 3 hours, but it helps with burning sensation of diarrhea.

So what do you guys think? I know you cannot diagnose someone with HIV online, but looking at these symptoms do you think this could be IBS-D from the anxiety and stress? If so, what should i eat and do everyday to keep my stomach running properly?

First of all, it sounds like you need a family doctor, and perhaps a specialist to look into your symptoms. Walk in clinics aren't great for chronic health problems like IBS.

In regards to the HIV, why are you concerned that you've contracted it? Have you found out that your sexual partner is positive?
