Hello,I have had this since 1976 and most doctors tell us we just have to live with it. The meds they recommend have many side effects and most do not do much good.Many of us here have found taking a calcium supplement helps with the constant attacks of urgent diarrhea. We take one tablet with each meal to get some relief. I use caltrate plus brand in the purple and white box it seems to be the most effective.Maybe you can get the medical testers to do some research on the calcium. It is the only thing that has helped me in 23 years.If you read some of the post you will find out what ibs is really all about.Linda
