Count me in the C/D gang. I am predominately D but get C every couple of weeks. It's not bad C though, more of a constant discomfort than excruciating pain. About 4-6 times a year, though, I get the excruciating tearful "let-me-die-or-let-me-have-a-BM" C which is awful. It's usually triggered by traveling, which means I've spent some vacations in agony! I did keep a food and symptom journal for about 3 months and it did help a lot. I am able to keep it under control by watching my triggers, both food and stress related. When my D acts up, I take calcium and eat gentler foods. When I am traveling, I take FiberChoice and up my water intake. It's a lot of trial and error, trying to manage this beast.
