CIG - i found a great combo for myself, which has kicked in again after a few difficult weeks and a colonoscopy cleanout: KAL Brand Mag Supps: one with my first meal and then one TwinLab Mag Supp that's just oxide, with dinner (plus a flax or fish oil pill, too.)

The thing with chelating is that it increases the absorbancy enormously. (I know with D and calcium, you want it non-chelated so that it will pass through your intestines and absorb the bile.) If the mag works in the body, rather than in the intestines, chelated should be best. If not, I would assume non-chelated would be best.
