Was just wondering if anyone has tekan Naltrexone for pain and constipation as there was some postings about this a few months ago.I have the medication which my doc prescribed for the first time, but I dont know when to take it, and whether it should be taken on an empty stomach or with food. Apparently the studies were done taking 10mg twice a day. This is a kind of trial for both me and my doc. It would really help to know someone else who has tried this and what response they had.

this medication intrigues me. supposedly it increases circulating endorphins and enkaphelins in the blood stream.it upregulates the immune system.is this good or bad (immune system- up) ???????????????????????

Anything that increases the immune system I would say is extremely positive.My question is how does this medication decrease pain and help with constipation.How does one administer it, does, time of day etc. Unable to get answers from docs or pharmacies.Some do say that it can increase pain, I am so confused, and I have the medication but dont know what to do with it anymore as I took some today and have been in the most terrible pain.
