The company commissioned a study which found that it did not.

I've found it does for some things like beans, but not others...Flux do you have a citation for the study or a newspaper article? Wouldn't they pull it off the market if that were the case?

It seemed to actually make my gas release reflex go into overdrive, and boy, I don't need that. But my system may be weird 'cause the Pro-M worked for me and others don't seem to be having the same success.

About 30 minutes ago I viewed a very nice ad on tv about Beano. I do not know but if Flux says something is up, share the source so all will save some money on trying it . I was going to this weekend. Simethicone is still the best for me so far. A lady on another thread drinks a pitcher of apple juice!! Cleans her out she said for activites to follow with the family. Each to his own. Itis nice some are finding solutions.

I recently got my mum who is overseas to send me some, as it is not available here in Australia. I ate a meal with beans and felt less uncomfortable afterwards than I usually would. I think it is worth a go.

The source is not public. Beano is not a drug, so whether it works or not is out of the FDA's reach.
